Carolene's Table

It's Easter time.   So here we are on a Friday and of course we have to have fish for dinner.

So Carolene whips up a little dinner.  Flavors are robust.  Table is set with love.

She does it so well. Tulips on the table.  Candles.  Lenin's.

I picked out a few Mahi Mahi slabs from one of our fishing adventures.  She did it up with a rĂ©moulade of tomato and onion and spices and wine.  Baked it quick and set on the table so fresh and savory with moisture in the meat.  Next to a rice and a carrot puree that was made with just a few extra ingredients that this French chick of mine had up her sleeve.

When JJM got served his Fish Dinner with Mahi Mahi he liked the look of the plate and the table enough to take another photo.  And he loved the flavor.  Steve James joined us too.  Dinner for four and the conversation was sweet.

Desert was chocolate Fludge cake with ice cream and strawberries sauced up.

As usual, it was great.

To truly enjoy life... Enjoy the flavor and friends that spices up your day. Today and Every Day.

The meal is more than the table, the food, or the eating of it.  It is the lovely enjoyment of your friends and family at the table that makes it extra wholesome for not just your belly but for your SOUL.

I am loving my friends and my Carolene.

Carolene's Table is special.
