Happy Mardi Gras

Happy Mardi Gras wishes to you all from Santa Monica. Hope you are going to have a nice celebration tonight.

I'm hopeful that I'll find some Jazz tonight and see some fun friends to celebrate a little. I have attended a New Orleans Mardi Gras once. Maybe it will reinforce those happy memories.

I do have some beads.

Above are two evening shots of the SM Pier and PCH to Malibu. I took them at the top of the California Incline recently. The photos are evening shots and since I did not have a tripod are not very good. That does not diminish the fun of sharing them.

Economy notes... Inflation Not! Massive Deflation On It's Way via the Bail Out

Is the bail out a sad hoax being sold to us by clowns in Washington DC?

Is this leading to a dishonest tax on all Americans via how the bailout is being funded by printing money. This inflationary period is going to affect you and your financial well being. What items hold value after a downturn of this type?

Gold? Silver? Real Estate? Euro's?

Man, we have had to relax on shore and wait on the sidelines. We are doing some backyard home improvements anyway.

Recently the fish reports are of Squid in the bait receiver and some calico bass and sand bass biting locally.

Maybe on Weds we can get over to the LA Convention Center for the LA Boat show.
