Nice progress

Thomas and I drove the boat into our slip on one engine. Fun. A challenge. But we did it!

The Bridge is looking sharp. She is happy in her Slip. The Radar Arch is spiffy with it's new paint.

We have cleaned this and that. I'm into the Wires now. The mechanic is waiting on a Cummins part and that will get the boat back to usability soon enough to go Marlin Fishing. Maybe in time for the Aug. 31 Cruise to Cat Harbor. Simple Goal.

Fish Wish. Take Family to Catalina for Labor Day weekend, August 31 to Sept 3.

Boat under repair update

Hi Just a FYI to keep a current post.

The boat is out of the boat yard. At the yard we changed all the near the water line drain thrugh hulls to Bronze. And removed two below water line items. And installed a new pick up for a future bait tank pick up. And installed a state of the art transducer for the new fish finder. Then we gave her a very good bottom paint and a new rich blue boot stripe just above the water line.

Now that she is back in the slip the painting of the bridge and the radar arch is coming to completion. The part the we look at while driving the boat will look good.

So first we fixed all the stuff on the bottom. Then starting at the top and working our way down we are making her look good.

More later. Keith <"><

Went Fishing - Caught a fish

Hi all,

Went fishing today. Caught a Fish. A nice fish.

Turned out to be a 24.1 lb halibut. The best fish of the day for the New Del Mar on the morning run.

Wife has friends visiting and I took their son and his Dad out on the New Del Mar for a little local fishing action.

Som Berracuda came in and some bass. But this Halibut outclassed all the other fish for the Jackpot.

Nice. Thanks to the Marina Del Rey Sportfishing guys.

Had some fun. :-)
