Sending our best thoughts for strength to Scott and Jean

Our good friends boat has been captured by Somali Pirates.  We are praying for them.

"officials said they are considering a response "  Hope so.  Hope that they get them back soonest.

They are good sane people.   They were now on the the leg of a vacation of a lifetime that heads up to the Med.  They were well aware of the situation and are very capable sailors.

The flotilla they joined was supposed to have some support to help avoid this.
Their many friends are all pulling for their safe return.

They were not taking bibles into the middle east.   Some things are way overdone in the news and of course in the stupid blather of reply posts.

Many of the DRYC members are being very cautious as to what we say to any public media.  We do not want to be part of the story or to inflame any of the nut-jobs out there.   The US State Department will do it's best.

Pulling for the safe return of our friends.

We knew the owners of the Quest - Scott and Jean were great people.

Scott and Jean Adams the Co-Captains of the Quest were the types that we really want to emulate. Positive. Full of love of life. Generous. And welcoming to new people into their lives. Often laughing. Supportive of each other. Scott and Jean Adams will be remembered as great positiveness in whatever circle they were in.

They did not back down from the many harrowing challenges that the storms of life or sea tossed in their way. They hunkered down to weather the rough patch and kept the best positive "we are survivors" mentality about them.

My friends who did ocean crossings with them on the Quest have many tales of the trials. And many more of the joyous moments when one or the other would show the Love and Appreciation of the excellent moments that make life grand.

I recommend that we all go to WhiteHouse.gov and send a letter telling our leadership that we all want to stop the piracy.

Piracy is an act of war. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piracy )

The Somalia people in those gangs are at war with the civilized world. We and All civilized societies around the world must band together and say enough.
IMHO We all must speak up.

Sincerely,
Keith L.
